Notice Regarding Insurance Coverage

Please note that our practice is not currently accepting patients with Medicare insurance (even if you have secondary health insurance with Cigna or CareFirst BCBS). We encourage you to contact your insurance provider for assistance in finding a participating provider. If you have any questions about accepted insurance plans, feel free to reach out to our office.

Accepted insurance plans (in-network):

• Cigna (primary insurance plans only)

• CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield (primary insurance plans only).

Self pay option (non-Medicare patients only):

• Initial assessment - $150

• Follow up visits - $100

As stated above, our practice is not currently accepting patients with Medicare, including those with secondary commercial insurance plans.

Please call the number on your insurance card prior to your visit to learn if medical nutrition therapy services are a covered benefit. When you call us to make an appointment, we will also obtain your insurance information to check your insurance coverage.

Please ensure that your insurance provider covers Medical Nutrition Therapy (initial consult is code 97802, follow up is code 97803).
